Summary of this Footer Year Part I

Soccer has always been an integral part in my lyf....I have this funny habit of attributing everythng that has been happening to me to seemingly frivilous soccer events,more so.
The year 2006 had a lot to do with soccer than many other political,geographical,mataphysical,and u-name-it!! stuff....
So i jus go back as far as i can and bring out some or all of my thoughts on Soccer in 2006....

First up,FIFA WORLD CUP 2006....
This world cup in my view ,was not all that surprising as compared to its earlier edition but it didnt fail to entertain.

• Hosts of the tournament,they had to escape rotten tomatoes and Eggs,in front of visitors
• A squad which more or less contained Youth
• Spirit instilled by Klinsmann
• Attacking intent and a Total football oriented approach

Not much to talk abt...That is wat happens wen u r the lone cusader in yo team.

Injured and out.I dunno wat went wrong in the first two matches

Kept the bench warm for most part of the World cup....Scored a precious goal against the Czechs

Ronaldo:

U ll get on the scoresheet invariably,no matter how bad ur situation is.....The best finisher in the world still...

Petr Cech:

Brilliant!!!.....but u r team let u down mann...

Became the best playmaker in the tournament.
